Responsive Design : Jargon Buster

Responsive design is an approach to designing and developing websites that tries to address the challenge presented by the increasingly diverse set of devices people use to access the web.

A Responsive website combines flexible page layouts with CSS Media Queries to automatically reshape the display of content to best fit the viewing device, whether that’s a smartphone, tablet, desktop or anything in-between.

Website visitors are delivered a better user experience and website owners can avoid the time and expense of developing and maintaining separate websites to specifically target each device type.

Responsive has been our default approach to developing new websites for the past few years. So for some great examples of Responsive design in action checkout our websites portfolio.
